Sec-Line/Fax-2000Xe
Sec-Line/Fax-2000 is the latest creation of secure telefax communication equipment from Ardy Electronics. This encryption system is based on Ardy's encryption processor with an algorithm especially designed to meet the high demands of security and reliability.

Sec-Line/Fax-2000 is installed between the telephone line and the telefax terminal, and can be installed at all telefax types with group 3 communication.

Key management is according to ANSI standard with input of encryption keys from smart cards or from system keyboard. User smart card contains 100 encryption keys which can be loaded to the encryption processor from the keyboard. Ten encryption keys can manually be loaded from the keyboard to the encryption processor.

Sec-Line/Fax-2000 have a zeroize function for fast erasure of stored keys. Password or master smart card protects system keyboard from unauthorized use.

Sec-Line/Fax-2000 is customized for easy installation at existing telefax networks and gives you an electronic envelope to all your telefax messages, without any delay of the transmission.

Sec-Line/Fax-2000 eliminates all possibilities of inadvertent transmission caused by incorrect dialing or by errors in the telephone network.

Advantages with the SLF2000Xe system
1. The system is a high tech digital encryption system with a hardware encryption processor.
2. The algorithm is approved to be a high security level algorithm with appr 35000 bits of changeable master encryption key length. This will take about 1x10 exp9000 years to break if the test computer can test 1x10 exp6 tests per second. The session key length is 480 bit.
3. The customer can get his own unique version of the algorithm.
4. The system is installed in about 50 countries and has been in operation for more then 10 years.
5. The system is fully automatic and has a unique authentication function with personal PIN codes
and Smart Cards to identify the person sending the encrypted fax.
6. All pages are automatically marked with the text "Not Encrypted" or "Encrypted" together with
the identification number of the sending person.
7. Key distribution is done with smart cards. Loading of encryption keys are done from smart cards
or manually from the systems keyboard.
